The Importance of Using Soap

This might seem like a redundant subject, but it truly has importance and meaning to it!
According to an article written by Sara Spary in the Telegraph (article cited below), antibacterial wipes or even sprays are much less effective at eradicating germs than plain old soap!
This is something to consider when hiring office cleaners and even asking your existing office cleaning company about the solutions and soaps they use might be a good idea. Reading Sara’s article, It’s a little unnerving to think that “common germs, which can replicate themselves in just 20 minutes, quickly recolonize back to original mass even if just one single cell is left over.” as is stated in the article. It also states that “bar soap was found to be more effective at destroying bacteria because they tended to contain ingredients that broke down cell walls” according to Dr. Clare Lanyon, a biomedical scientist from Northumbria University in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Arelli is a commercial cleaning company and as professional office cleaners, we are committed to providing the cleanest possible environment to every one of our customers. Part of that responsibility involves making our clients aware of these types of articles and information when they come to light. This will ensure an honest and transparent relationship between office cleaning staff and client and assure each of our clients of our commitment to cleanliness and health of employees and professional office cleaning staff alike. Make sure, whoever your office cleaners are, that they are providing you with the same type of commitment and honesty, as it is truly important to the cause.
The cleaning products used are just as important as the cleaners themselves, so it’s not something we should take lightly. Next time you talk to your janitorial service providers, just ask about the solutions and soaps/sprays they use and make sure it’s something you are comfortable and happy with.
