Becoming a Team Member

Registration
Working with Arelli requires you to complete a registration process first. Understand what happens after by reading the steps below, then scroll down to apply by clicking on the “Get Started” button below.
Document Submission and Hiring Requirements
We will reach out to successful applicants via email or phone and share further details about our hiring process and further requirements. We will also ask you to provide us with the following documentation:
• Government issued ID
• A “selfie” taken on the same day
• Police Background Check
Video Call Interview
Our onboarding includes a mandatory video call on the day of the initial interview using the widely used “WhatsApp” which is available on Apple store for iPhones and Google Play for Android phones. This app offers secure end to end encryption and facilitates the exchange of follow up information.

Please be advised that this is an integral part of our process and helps us validate your identification documents with you as the individual applying for work. Please make sure you have this application installed on your phone if you decide to proceed with your application.

Arelli can conduct interviews to accommodate people with special needs or other requirements. Please inform us of your requirements prior to the interview.
Background Check and Reference Validations
Background and reference checks, and validation of documentation we receive will be done in parallel with, or after the initial video interview.
Confirmation of knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
Arelli expects applicants to carry a valid WHMIS certificate. The free training video below is provided to you free of charge courtesy of The Cleaning University for all applicants and to watch and review as required.

You will be ready for work once you successfully complete the steps above.

b) Utilize any Police department’s website to get it online. Based on your location, the time to get a response varies by location. For example, you can use the TORONTO POLICE’S WEBSITE FOR BACKGROUND CHECKS BY CLICKING HERE.

How do I get a WHMIS certification?

Arelli requires crew members to have WHMIS certification to be able to professionally handle cleaning chemicals. You can obtain your free WHMIS Certification here.
