Getting started with Arelli is straightforward. Here’s what to expect once you apply:
Registration
The process begins with a simple online registration. Once you submit your information, you’ll learn what to expect next and how to prepare for the following steps. Apply today.
Document Submission and Hiring Requirements
If your application is successful, we’ll contact you by phone or email with details about the next steps. At that time, we’ll ask you to provide:
- Government-issued ID
- A “selfie” photo taken on the same day for identity validation
- A valid Police Background Check
Video Call Interview
We conduct interviews through WhatsApp video call — a secure, encrypted platform that helps us validate your documents in real time. Please install WhatsApp on your phone before your interview.
This video call allows us to verify your ID with you directly.
If you have accessibility or special needs, let us know in advance so we can accommodate your requirements.
Background Check and Reference Validations
Your background check and reference validation will be completed in parallel with, or shortly after, the video interview. This ensures your documents are verified quickly so you can move forward without unnecessary delays.
Confirmation of WHMIS Certification
All applicants are expected to hold a valid Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certificate. To make this easier, we provide a free training video through The Cleaning University. Watch it as needed to refresh your knowledge and get certified.

Once the steps above are completed successfully, you’ll be cleared to join our crews. At this point, you’ll be matched with local cleaning teams across Ontario.
Personal Interview
We will meet with you in person to confirm the information we collected and validate the documents.
Insurance
We encourage all crew members to protect themselves with insurance. Through our partner program, rates start as low as $46/month, and certificates are issued instantly in less than 10 minutes. You don’t have to register with Arelli to take advantage of this offer.
